This Book is complementary to Cambridge IELTS 4 – The IELTS practice test book sold by the Cambridge University Press. It explains why the answers given in the Cambridge book are correct, by showing how the phrases containing the keywords in the answers relate to the phrases containing the synonyms in the text.
Examples for each question type are also included.
IELTS Candidates wishing to use this information will also need to have access to a copy of the Cambridge IELTS 4 practice test book.
Having studied the key words and the synonyms and paraphrases for each Reading Section in Cambridge Practice Tests 4, you should then:
● go away and remember all these
● practise using them while you are speaking
● See how often they occur in your IELTS Listening Test, too
● practise using them when you are writing the IELTS Tasks
Do this and your treasure chest of expressions and collocations from these will just grow and grow, making anything you study for IELTS easier and easier.
